Ex-sector banking industry of ING Rick Denekamp is starting his own consultancy firm, RD+P, for entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry, to make financial advice more accessible to entrepreneurs. 'It is not easy for a company to obtain good financial advice or financing. The financing landscape has changed significantly in recent years. RD+P sees a realignment in the financing landscape for companies. Co-financing is the new reality. We help SMEs to enable a capital mix of financial service providers, local governments and informal investors. Traditional banking solutions are thus strengthened and supplemented with funds from other parties,” is how Denekamp explains his move.
Denekamp is a former investment banker who 'after years of having to watch' that financing seems increasingly difficult to reach for entrepreneurs, has decided to do something about this. 'That is why RD+P was founded, an independent strategic financial consultancy firm based in Zeist, with the mission to help the Dutch manufacturing industry with their valuation, investment and financing issues. As a director of corporate financing, we combine different types of capital into the most suitable solution, whereby subordinated loans can also be used in addition to bank financing.'
Rick Denekamp has a track record in financial services and strategic management, and with more than 200 (international) transactions to his name, Rick knows how to value, buy and finance a company.
In addition to his Master in Strategic Management (MSc) at the Rotterdam School of Management, Rick worked as a lecturer in strategic business planning for the RSM and obtained a Master in International Finance at ESADE University in Barcelona.
